Group Classes that set families in Northern Rhode Island, up for success!

Our Semi-Private Group Classes are limited to 2-4 dogs per class. This ensures you get the guidance you need and deserve during your time with us.

Our Group Classes are taught by Certified Professional Dog Trainer and Fear Free Certified Trainer, Casey Hallenbeck and Family Dog Mediator and Fear Free Certified Trainer, Mary Babbitt. You will always receive the most up to date and science based information that will set you and your pup up for success and help you build a lasting bond!

Puppy Kindergarten

  • Ongoing - Saturdays at 9:45am

    • 4, 30-45 minute Lessons

    • Puppies ages 2mo-6mo

    • This class is Open Enrollment meaning there is no set “Lesson 1”. Watch our Orientation Video then pick your own start date! This structure allows you to start learning much sooner than if you had to wait 5 weeks for the next start date.

  • This class is perfect for any family with a puppy!

    Even if you already know a thing or two about raising a puppy, this class will give you opportunities for socialization which is critical in puppyhood.

    You will also become a part of our wonderful community of other puppy owners who understand exactly what you’re going through!

For Puppies 2-6 months

  • Ongoing - Saturdays at 8:45am

    • 4, 45 minute Lessons

    • Dogs of any age!

  • Our Basic Manners class is designed to help you and your dog live more harmoniously in your day to day life.

    Learn how to greet without jumping, how to chill in the home, prevent counter surfing, and more!

A Beginner Level Class

Basic Manners

Out & About

    • Need to have taken Basic Manners or Puppy Kindergarten

  • Enjoy walks with your dog:

    • Leash handling

    • How to handle distractions

    • Stop leash pulling

    • U-turns & stops

  • $125 +tax for Out & About

An Intermediate Level Class

Confident Care

  • Next Start Date: TBD in April

    • 4, 45 minute Lessons

    • Need to have taken Basic Manners or Puppy Kindergarten

  • Get your dog comfortable with body handling, grooming, and vet procedures:

    • Body Handling (checking them all over)

    • Paw Handling & Nail Trim Help

    • Bath Time

    • Confidence Building

    • Opt-in / Consent based behaviors

  • $125 +tax for Confident Care

Brewery Manners

  • Next Start Date: Undecided - sometime Spring 2025

    • 4, 45 minute Lessons

    • Need to have taken Basic Manners

  • All in a brewery setting:

    • Settle on a Mat

    • Calm Greeting with Friendly Strangers

    • Polite Ordering

    • Leash Walking

    • Leave it

    • Recover from a Startle

  • $175 +tax for Brewery Manners

An Intermediate Level Class

Canine Good Citizen Prep

  • Saturdays at 11:30am

    Next Start Date: Saturday, January 11th (1 spot left!)

    • 6, 45 minute Lessons

    • Need to have taken Basic Manners

  • Learn the CGC Test Items

    • Accepting a friendly stranger

    • Sitting politely for petting

    • Appearance and grooming

    • Out for a walk (walking on a loose leash)

    • Walking through a crowd

    • Sit & Down on cue

    • Stay in place

    • Coming when called

    • Reaction to another dog

    • Reaction to distraction

    • Supervised separation

  • $250 +tax for CGC Prep & 1 Mock Test (not the real test)

Here is an overview of our registration process so you know what to expect:

  1. Intake Form & Policies - Fill these out & thoroughly read through and sign our policies - be sure to choose the right class!

  2. Invoice & Payment - If we believe you will be a good fit, you will be sent an invoice to secure your spot in class

  3. Book Start Date - Once your invoice is paid, you’ll be sent a link to book your start date for class

  4. Orientation Video - Once your start date is booked, you’ll be sent our Orientation Video to view before your first class!
